Reynolds Ranch

Located in Jupiter Farms, Reynolds Ranch is an enclave of 30 luxury homes. These custom estates are situated on 1.5 to two acres and range in size from 4,000 to more than 6,000 square feet of indoor living space. Common interior appointments include porcelain or wood flooring, impact-resistant glass, grand foyers, volume ceilings, spacious bedrooms, separate guest quarters, custom cabinetry, chef’s kitchens, and numerous high end fixtures. From an exterior perspective, many of the homes feature backyard swimming pools, fenced in lawns, winding driveways, immaculate lawns, covered lanais, and summer kitchens. The property, which encompasses 160 acres of coastal terrain, was formerly the ranch of movie star Burt Reynolds, who rode horses, attended to wildlife, and enjoyed the quiet oasis. At the ranch, Reynolds filmed scenes for Smokey the Bandit II, entertained movie stars, and married his wife, Loni Anderson, in a private ceremony. Read More

In 1999, Reynolds sold the ranch to the Palm Beach County School Board, who planned to construct a middle school. However, the school district sold the land to developer K. Hovannian Homes. Keeping its original namesake, Hovannian plans to develop the iconic property into a small, upscale subdivision.

Amenities at Reynolds Ranch include four miles of riding paths, paddocks, and freshwater lakes. Residents enjoy the country-like setting with the close proximity to city-style attractions, restaurants, and entertainment venues. These include Roger Dean Baseball Stadium, Downtown Abacoa, Riverbend Park, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, the Borland Performing Arts Center, the Gardens Mall, historic Jupiter Lighthouse, and, of course, the beautiful white sand beach. Public access to Jupiter Beach and Juno Beach are less than 12 miles away.

Well-known for its equestrian enthusiasm, Jupiter Farms is a large community located west of the Florida Turnpike off Indiantown Road. The community has its own elementary and middle school, church, and commercial centers. Residents of “the Farms” appreciate the freedom and space to grow their own gardens, harvest their own chickens, and board their own horses. Many of the homes, including those at Reynolds Ranch, boast backyard stables, wash racks, and riding rings. In this area, commuting via hooves is common, and many restaurants and stores have hitching posts for riders. Reynolds Ranch prides itself on its friendliness and privacy. Neighbors are kind and helpful but not intrusive. The community is ideal for families who desire a serene setting with the convenience of modern, upscale amenities.
